一、解說
1. 中華人民共和國(guó)為了擴(kuò)大國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)合作和技術(shù)交流，允許外國(guó)公司、企業(yè)和其它經(jīng)濟(jì)組織或個(gè)人（以下簡(jiǎn)稱外國(guó)合營(yíng)者），按照平等互利的原則，經(jīng)中國(guó)政府批準(zhǔn)，在中華人民共和國(guó)境內(nèi)，同中國(guó)的公司、企業(yè)或其它經(jīng)濟(jì)組織（以下簡(jiǎn)稱中國(guó)合營(yíng)者）共同舉辦合營(yíng)企業(yè)。With a view to expanding international economic cooperation and technological exchange, the People's Republic of China permits foreign companies, enterprises, other economic organizations or inspaniduals (hereinafter referred to as "foreign joint venturers") to establish equity joint ventures together with Chinese companies, enterprises or other economic organizations (hereinafter referred to as Chinese joint venturers") within the territory of the People's Republic of China on the principle of equality and mutual benefit and subject to approval by the Chinese Government.
    “with a view to doing sth”是個(gè)正式的書面語，意為：with the intention or hope of doing sth有做某事的打算或希望。

    “按照經(jīng)中國(guó)政府批準(zhǔn)的協(xié)議、合同、章程”譯作一個(gè)形容詞短語“pursuant to the agreement, contract and articles of association approved by the Chinese Government”，放在句末。“pursuant to...”的意思是“in accordance with..."。此類短語最常見的位置就是句首或句末。

4. 合營(yíng)企業(yè)的形式為有限責(zé)任公司。An equity joint venture shall take the form of a limited liability company.
    翻譯此句時(shí)應(yīng)考慮到英漢主謂搭配問題，不能全盤照搬。漢語的主語是“形式”，英語的主語是“An equity joint venture”，所以選用“take the form of...”這個(gè)謂語形式。

    “in kind”是個(gè)習(xí)語，意為：(of payment) in goods or natural produce, not in money （指償付）以實(shí)物償付。
    例：When he had no money, the farmer sometimes used to pay me in kind, eg with a sack of potatoes. 那個(gè)農(nóng)民沒有現(xiàn)款時(shí)，有時(shí)候給我些東西抵帳（如給一袋土豆）。

6. 如果有意以落后的技術(shù)和設(shè)備進(jìn)行欺騙，造成損失的，應(yīng)賠償損失。In case of losses caused by a foreign joint venturer in its practicing deception through the intentional provision of outdated technology and equipment, it shall compensate for the losses.
    “in case of sth”意為：if sth happens若發(fā)生某事，假如。
    此句譯文的結(jié)構(gòu)相當(dāng)緊湊，層次交待得也很清楚。“In case of losses”是“如果造成損失”，然后用一個(gè)限定成分說明怎樣造成的損失。
    另外，雖然原句是無主句，但英文還是需要主語的，故加了“it”，指代“a foreign joint venturer”。

    “specify”意為：state clearly and definitely確切說明；明確規(guī)定。
    “assess”意為：decide or fix the value of (sth); evaluate確定，評(píng)定（某事物）的價(jià)值；估價(jià)。
    “場(chǎng)地除外”是指場(chǎng)地的價(jià)格除外，故譯作“that of the site”，“that”指代“value”。

8. 出口產(chǎn)品可由合營(yíng)企業(yè)直接或與其有關(guān)的委托機(jī)構(gòu)向國(guó)外市場(chǎng)出售，也可通過中國(guó)的外貿(mào)機(jī)構(gòu)出售。It may sell its export products on foreign markets directly or through associated agencies or China's foreign trade agencies.
     原文含有被動(dòng)意思，但上一句用“an equity joint venture”作主語，故本句譯文繼續(xù)以此作主語，只是用代詞“it”來表示。這樣譯的好處就是上下文比較順暢。
